The apostle John concludes his letter to the churches by showing them how to love God. He's already told us that God is love and as children of his we ought to love one another, but now he turns it all around and asks, "How ought we love God?" The answer might surprise many Christians today!

Following on in this wonderful little letter, John moves on from telling us how to Become a Christian For Real to How to Know You're a Christian For Real. Writing at the end of the first century John was fully aware of a new sect that was falling away and leading others away from faith in Christ.
